Just a note about The Big Red Bike, I would love to hear from anyone about how they felt about the book. We have been very busy and have sold over 1000 copies with hundreds of wonderful comments from those that loved the book. I hope you all have a chance to read it. It's about when I was 9 years old, should bring back memories and give young kids a great deal of good life lessons to help them along!
I have read the book and was so impressed with how well it was written. It is just one of those wonderful stories that takes you back and helps you remember those fun childhood memories.
We enjoyed meeting you, and thank you for signing the books for my kids, and for sharing your stories with us. I have to confess that, though I've sent copies out to my kids, I have only perused the book, haven't taken the time to read it through yet. But I will. Speaking of lawn mowing, your drawing also evokes memories, except that mine was an old 1940s push mower with a big square wooden shaft and turned wooden T-handles. I was the engine.
